I really like Dr. Phil, so I wanted to like his new book on
weight loss. And I do like some of it, however, there's a big
problem with the chapter on what to eat. Dr. Phil proposes
exactly the same eating plan for everyone. This will NOT work!
His plan may include too many calories for some people, mostly
small-framed people. I was actually eating a very similar amount
of food at one time, watching my fat intake carefully, eating
plenty of fiber, and my weight wouldn't budge. When I ...

It's 11:30 a.m. You're in an important meeting. Your stomach
growls so loud that the speaker pauses to see just where that
noise came from.
You feel like crawling under the table.
You're trying to concentrate, but you feel weak. Unable to keep
your mind on your work. You're antsy. All you can think about is
lunch.
Everyone piles down to the restaurant. You are so starving, you
order the bacon cheeseburger with fries. And they have this
great white chocolate cheesecake. Gotta try that!

There is always time for a little reflection be it from the sun
or sea or our interesting history..... Strolling around Port
Douglas today it is hard to imagine that it was once a wild
frontier town filled with itinerant seamen and gold prospectors.
The sleepy little village which still remembers its roaring days
is now filled with cosmopolitan cafes, boutiques and well-heeled
shoppers who insist on paying a visit to as many of Port's
famous restaurants and fashionable stores as possible. There ...

Because all of us have been brought up eating junk food, well
most of us, it is not easy to change our eating habits. Your
eating habits have developed since childhood based on what your
mothers or fathers cooked and what your psychological make-up
was during that time.
The foods you eat and crave help keep pass trauma and present
anxiety in check. Food helps make you feel good when you start
to feel bad. Eating is a natural defense mechanism that the
brain-body uses to keep you from going ...

As the U.S. economy slid deeper into recession during 2009, coffee marketers and foodservice operators moved in the opposite direction, digging out of the trench of 2008 with a variety of strategies designed to capitalize on the fact that even upscale coffee is a relatively thrifty luxury that offers comfort during stressful times. Two success stories were the rebound of Starbucks on the foodservice side and the revitalization of the former P&G retail coffee portfolio by J M. ...

This is the Singapore eating guide to the best American restaurants available. The local palette has been expanding since the restaurant boom in Singapore since the late 1980's and the early 1990's. Many people believed that this was because of the advent of many expatriates who were looking to Singapore as a viable working destination in the Asian region. Others saw the increased affluence of the average Singaporean - a combination of increased consumer spending power and the 'travelibility' ...

Today's economy presents some very special challenges to people
who are unemployed, underemployed, or who are simply trying to
give their own business venture a shot in the arm. At times, the
job search can seem daunting, if not impossible, as it takes
quite a bit of encouragement - and creativity - to keep pressing
forward. A highly flexible [power] networking plan is important
- one that requires "out of the box" thinking in order to
increase your chances of securing desired employment. ...
